A month plus of being a KB-ian

So… a month (and 3 days had passed) and I’m finally kinda settling down in KB. I got lazier I guess… Because when I lived in Seria, going to KB seems like a piece of cake and now, I feel so lazy to drive to Seria…

I’m 5 minutes drive away from my work place… but very far away from French Cheese Toast.

The temporary Supa Save is also quite near to me but I miss the convenience of the ….. ermm… the name we called that street is just not nice to mention here, you know.. the street across the Seria terminal… Super syok to have a sort of “drive thru” street you know.

But I definitely miss my neighbour the most!

I never need to worry if I left my keys because we have a spare one next door.

Got visitors when we’re out? No problem, my auntie will help out.

She drove me to tuition for a lot of years and I only sent her kids to SMSA for couple of years.

*emo*

Anyways, EVERYONE WHO CAME TO OUR NEW PLACE PREFER THIS THAN THE OLD ONE IN SERIA!

Of course lah…… I paid a lot (okay la.. not so much…) for the furniture lah.

I want to take photo of the new place but the G12 is now with Bobby so… just sikit sikit lah.

The buddies having steamboat at mi place on Valentine’s day (ya lah ya lah, we’re a bunch of losers lah. But we felt damn winner-ish because we had so much fun that night!)

Oh, that’s the dining area behind us.
(Stating this for the sake of 48… who’s obviously the only one who hasn’t been here)

The wall that required painting….

After! Done by Bobby and I.

Seriously… moving house is super hectic and super super super many things to deal with! Utilities, furniture and you know which part took us the longest time to survey.. CURTAINS!

My bed/room… on the day we moved in.
Took me quite long to put things into place.

I’m going to edit the Goa photos tonight and hopefully blog it tomorrow ah…

I know hutang long time already.

And all we did was eat, eat and eat on Bobby’s birthday celebration

Actually, Bobby’s birthday is today, 11th of February but due to the reason that he’s sort of going to work OT, having dinner with his family and most importantly, I’m attending DoraMabel’s poolside engagement party, we pushed it forward and celebrated in advance.

Not knowing where to eat, Bobby picked Kaiz Cuisine because we like to try out new restaurants… despite of negative reviews given by most people who’d been there.

I went crazy reading pages by pages. Man, so many choices! So different also! With reasonable price that I won’t feel my wallet kana punctured.

Table setting, just like any other Japanese restaurant….

The dessert page!
Too bad they didn’t have any red bean paste so Bobby couldn’t order #2703.

Really sad looking scallop bata shio yaki….
We’re like dafuq was this? Okay, nevermind nevermind. Patience.. who knows the rest of the food will blow us away~?

And then our favorite dish for the day was served,

Wagyu Tataki in wafu dressing!

Foodgasm!!!!!

Instead of the usual Shake sushi, we opted for Spicy Salmon sushi.
Very good too!

Unagi sushi… very normal…. Would even use the word “blah” for this…

Now this is something different.
The rice wrapped in seaweed is tempura-fried, topped with crabstick, unagi and cheese.

Because we both didn’t take any photo together so this is it, our only photo “together”

Not happy with the scallop bata yaki we ordered earlier, we ordered another different dish.
This time they did it right. Hehehehehehehehee.

The Red dragon ice cream…
Normal. Think they blend dragon fruit with vanilla ice cream hence the sauce is not very “dragon fruity”

And Bobby’s macha ice cream. sibeh thick the flavor!
Would be perfect if there’s red bean paste to go with it.

And…. umm…. we walked across the street and tapau-ed chicken wings, tongkengs and sausages.
Hehehhehe. Happy mah~
(The birthday boy starved himself the whole day just for this dinner okay)

Pretty good too!

And this… is the unfinished birthday “card” I made.

It’s suppose to be a 5 tiers birthday cake but I got lazy…..
Hence, it looks like some sad pyramid with bright nipple now…

But nevermind, Bobby said he’s going to complete HIS birthday card together with me.
hehehehehhee.

Incredible India: Day 3– It’s shopping time!

Heh…Hehehe… *dry awkward laugh*

I know..err.. super long hiatus on my India posts but here’s something to kill your “cravings”.. if any..

So day 3 was our last day in Delhi and of course it will be dedicated to bit of sight-seeing but more on SHOPPING!!!!

Maurina’s daily morning routine in Hotel Sunrise, use their wifi.

Hello India~

On the way to the kedai(s)

Plenty of Suzuki(s) on the street
(And this is one rare one without scratches and dents)

Karol Bagh in the morning is super lively. Huge contrast compare to dodgy night time.

Went into a bakery for some hot yummy breakfast

Just order..Pay at the cashier and the staffs will warm up the food.

So delicious and CHEAP!

Freshly grilled cheese and tomato sandwich

Chicken and mushroom roll.

After breakfast, we went back to our hotel to get taxi to move around Delhi.

Nah, a better view of our hotel.

So sayang la.. the car…

I’m always hungry too!

Anyways. We got ourselves a private taxi and paid only 800 rupees for 8 hours.
But we exceeded the time and went a little further and they charged extra 200 rupees.
Total, 1000 rupees for almost 10 hours. CHEAP OR WHAT!

So sexy and I bet the dog knows it.

FIRST STOP: SAROJINI NAGAR MARKET!

Like Oh.em.gee!

Super syok shopping for sarees. They served you like super VVVVVVVVVVVIP!
Just sit down, and they will flip open all sort of sarees and all you need to do is, nod your head, shake your head and KIV a bundle to think later.

We spent like… an hour (or more) sampai our eyes and mouths tired from enlarging pupils and jaw dropping wtf.

The funny and happy boss who forced me to get all the sarees I choose by giving me real good discounts.

The ladies who assisted us in choosing the sarees.

FYI. I ended up with 20 pieces sarees. Gila I know.
But it’s simply irresistible!

When we wanted to leave, our car got blocked and guess what…
WE WENT BACK IN THE MARKET TO SHOP AGAIN!
*women……*

Super crowded!

Looked up and saw 2 men on the roof top..

Next stop: India Gate

Just for those “I’m here” touristy shot.

Don’t play play, Obama also ever come here let her draw okay..

very tempted to try out those street snacks but don’t dare to take any risk lor.
don’t want to spoil my trip visiting toilets only.

Thinnest cotton candy ever…

I miss those chai tea!

Y BRUNEI NO MOBILE STREET VENDOR SELLING THE TARIK?

For show only….

See?

Kana cornered by few ladies who straight away grabbed our hands and drew henna on it and demanded a payment when we didn’t ask for it.

dot dot dot really…

I cant tell Mau’s expression. Still frightened? Tipu-ed? or happy?

Maurina refused to call this uniform.
For her, ani costume.

(Men in India all super dressed up one)

Last stop: Ansal Plaza

It’s actually quite big inside.

I know it’s a little weird that we actually ended up in a Korean restaurant to have dinner.. when we’re in India.
But you know, it’s fun to be a little spontaneous.

But the meal was not disappointing at all.
With free wifi somemore! Hehhehehe.

It’s a smoking restaurant and there’s actually a karaoke machine in the main dining area.

Seafood pancake

Ramyun

Gimbap and other appetizers

For those interested. Nah, the address.

Maurina feeling all tensed and worried because her place got broken into.
And her cat was missing…

Sad smile

Dunno what’s with this curang picture….

anyways, back to Karol Bagh

awesome shoe stall!

Pretty~

I got myself a simple camel leather shoe~

Wuiseh! Got maggi for sell!

I saw this man wearing suit in the street and hence took a picture of him. And he super sporting, stood there and posed nice nice for me to take photo. Very da-fang~

Err.. I don’t think I dare to walk in there lo…

My shoppings~

And favorite purchase of the day!

MAYBELLINE LIQUID EYELINER FOR ONLY $5!
(My favorite eyeliner for now. It lasts, and doesn’t smudge!)

Bah, next post will be quite cool because we’re going to GOA!
