Aiko Sushi

It was during OhMyCard’s launching when I first tried out sushi from Aiko and I told Bobby, we must go visit the restaurant some day!

So, yesterday was that “some day”. We went there for lunch.Flirt male

It was pretty packed, which was a good sign because if the restaurant is empty during peak hours, you know what that means.

I like the chairs with those high backs. It kind of gives the illusion that you’re creating/having a private corner of your own.

10
I didn’t get to check out the first floor. Maybe next time.

The buffet area.

Aiko provides a wide range of food. You can either go for local buffets, steamboat set meals or ala-carte Japanese dishes!

We picked the later, while everyone around us was munching rice with chicken kurma and fried popiah.

02
Unagi sushi. I like how juicy it was! Yums

03
To celebrate our love, Bobby picked this…. “Forever”.

04
Divine! Crabstick, cucumber and unagi rolled into a maki, topped with torched salmon sashimi, tempura flakes, ebiko then drizzled with dynamite sauce and sweet teriyaki sauce.

THIS.IS.SO.GOOD!

My favorite of all!

05
Nasu Gyoza. Nasu, the Japanese word for egg plant. I love egg plant and I was ecstatic to see the combination.

06

But, to be honest, I was disappointed with this dish. Maybe because the eggplant and meat was tad too burnt for my liking.

07
Salmon Uzukuri.

There’s quite a number of food I want to try out in the menu. Definitely going there again one day.

Oh, with OhMyCard, you get 10% discount… and I cleverly left mine at home. *kiss wallet*
